MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE PEEL
I have normal-to-dry skin (I used to say combo, but I haven't been as oily after having my daughter). Over the years of using Beautycounter, I have been able to dramatically change my skin.
In Spring of 2018, I was working on noticeable pores on my nose & hormonal breakouts around my chin/mouth area in the second half of my cycle. The first night I used this, I thought I was seeing things.
My skin was glowing in the morning. My face was SO smooth and felt wonderful to the touch.
After consistently using it every other night (or every 2 nights) for 4+ weeks, I was comfortable with NO foundation or tinted moisturizer (though I do use our tinted moisturizer for SPF most days) on my face.
Every morning after use, my skin looks brighter, tighter and feels wonderful.
I've been addicted since 2018 (editing this in 2022!!). I use this product consistently week after week and always love the results.
Plus, you only need 1-2 pumps for each use.
I sampled out AT LEAST 20 two-night applications, plus my personal uses, and only 1/3 of the bottle was gone (one of my favorite things about Beautycounter is that our products are super concentrated and last a while!).
ABOUT THE PEEL
Overnight Resurfacing Peel promotes cell turnover for a smoother complexion, boosts radiance, minimizes the appearance of pores, reduces the appearance of fine lines, evens skin tone, and minimizes the appearance of dark spots. To recover luminous, smooth skin, our Peel does two things:
First, nine resurfacing acids work together to renew the epidermal cells by removing dead skin cells from the stratum corneum (like breaking down the top layer of the skin). Second, a combination of six soothing acids rehydrates and replenishes skin leaving you with a wonderful glow in the morning. The “peel” in the name is speaking to the peeling or removing, of layers of dead skin. You do not need to peel off the product. It is a leave-on product and you won't be shedding layers of skin like chemical peels done in salons.

How do I apply it?
After cleansing, apply the peel slowly to your skin (face and neck) and allow to soak into skin for at least 5 minutes. It may tingle (that's okay!) Then apply your nighttime moisturizer (preferably not oil-based). Go to bed, wake up and follow your morning routine, as usual. Enjoy your new glow :)
How often can I use it?
You may use the product 3-4x a week. I recommend using it 2x a week to start or building up to every other night (if needed).
I started using it every other night for 2 weeks and now use it 2-3x a week (I do not have very sensitive skin).
Is there anyone who cannot use it?
It is not recommended for women who are already using high-powered exfoliators, medical products, as well as people with a current sunburn. If you are working with a dermatologist, you can share the ingredients to get their approval. Also, not recommended for those who recently had a chemical peel done in an office.
I have sensitive skin, can I use this?
I recommend doing a patch test behind your ear to see if you have a reaction first. It may tingle and get a little red, but if it is swollen or extremely red, I would not recommend using it.
The product is very well formulated with resurfacing AND soothing oils, so even those with sensitive skin have been responding well to it.
Is this safe for pregnant or nursing moms?
You should always check with a trusted provider, however the only ingredient that may cause concern is the salicylic acid, which is derived from willow bark for this product. According to the literature, oral salicylic acid has caused concern in pregnancy more than topical, but it is always best to check with your provider and do what feels best for you!
